Video problem with DreamFall: Longest Journey 2

Today i received my copy of Dreamfall : TLJ 2 .
I installed the game (6 CD's) , and ran it clean (without Nocd Patches), i see the intro, but when the game starts, i see all colored mixed up boxes.
Tried all the ingame video settings from Low to Ultra high.
And resetting The Forceware 84.43 driver setting to default.

I read the readme file an see my Vidcard Asus 6600 GT Xtreme is not supported.
What kind of rubbish is this game,excluding the most Vid. cards?
Are we forced to buy a GF 6800, wich is supported?

Can i change the game settings or game sytem to run the game on the 6600GT?.
I read an article wich told me to install the Forceware 81.xx drivers, did that
but still no go.
My son will play this game verry bad.

If there is no solution for that ,i think i return the game.

From what I've read on the official Forums for Dreamfall, you need to download Omega drivers for your nVidia card. They are older drivers, but seem to work well for those having this problem.

I Downloaded the Nvidia Omega Drivers 1.6693 (Forceware 66.93)
And the game works now , you make my kid verry happy.
But now TombRaider Legend runs a little weird with this drivers, a little stutter.
But he prefer tp play TLJ 2 above Tombraider, so no problem for him ,when he finished TLJ 2
i can install the latest forceware back again to play TombRaider Legend.

But what the heck my kid is happy, that's what count for me....

You are quite welcome. I hope your kid enjoys DreamFall. Let me know how it goes. I really enjoyed the original TLJ and am looking forward to this one, too. BUT, after I finish OBLIVION.

actually you don't need omega's specificaly. acording to some other forum only the newest nvidia drivers doesn't work well with it. 81.xx and earlier works fine.
