Stunning graphics, but graphics don't make or break a game, I'll have to learn more to pass any judgement.

Hey, just because your system can't run anything above 640x480 doesn't mean anything mate. A game will always look better because it garantees better immersion.
Go read the entire thread about that debate you started. This has nothing to do in this thread and if you don't appreciate the visuals of Crysis, then don't. Nobody is forcing it upon you.

The island looks like something from morrowind, but the water looks kinda funky.. is it just me? The white waves looks lame. So what gives? Its screenshot from a alpha build, they havent fine tuned the water yet.
I watched the technology preview and that was pretty cool. But the water looks really weird..
I would actually update my system to play this game, looks worth it. I have a water fetish in-games, water should look like water..

I am pretty sure that this is the best PC real-time graphics ever! And I don't care if they recycle the predecessor, as I haven't played it, and everyone says it's a great game!
I only hope I'll have a system to run it on (but I'm a little sceptical about that ).

Who said anything about my system? I actually have a top-tier rig with quality components, so don't assume things. I'm not your average "gamer." I'm one that's very dissatisfied with spending money on equipment, entering into a genre, and finding out there's really nothing here but smack-talking kids and beautiful visuals. I have to go back five years to find gaming in its golden age. Today is commercialization. You can enjoy it, but I don't.
I commented on it; I commented on your post. I responded in continuation with other replies. "Doom 3-sized disappointment." A thread can't simply be posts without any type of interaction between the posters. Moderators such as you may think this, and wonder how threads get "out of control," but that's really just the nature of people. When you talk with others, you tend to go off on tangents independent of original intentions. I apologize for nature, but if you really want me to shut up, I will. :P

You will have to use vista *eww*, talk about holding a gun to your head. MS shouldnt be able to do that to people. Maybe there plan is sell the most copies of Vista then release d10 for everyone else, if they did that though I could see alot of pissed off people. I myself don't see the reason to upgrade, I think it will be a waste of money, so I'm sticking with XP. Yoiu can keep your Directx10. The storyline should matter more then graphics anyways.
