Tomb Raider legends

Damn it,was stuck once and got quite a bit further into this game before i need a little assistance.

i can get to first Wheel in opperation with no trouble at all,i just can not figure out the second wheel in this chamber (screenshot above) where i need to get the spike open to continue.

Help please.

I just finished the game today... Hmmm I just did that but I completely forgot what you had to do... Damn sry !!!

NP... i just have the feeling the answer is more simple than i think,just what i have tried is not working.I have never had any trouble with TR puzzles in the past.Untill now.

the last time i asked the answer stared right in my face once this was pointed out,i just can't help this will be the same.

I heard that lara looks so hot that gamers will have to learn to play with one had on the keyboard and the other on the ......er...umm.....

does the game let you choose the render method?
the demo plays fine but is using dx7 i believe.it still looks good and if i can use dx7 for the game with high settings then i want to get this.that is how i play cod2 and still get pretty good looking graphics with very high fps.what really sold me was when lara is climbing a wall or cliff and at the top she does that really slow handstand over the edge.man that is sexy.better than any pron i have at the moment,lol.

i almost grabbed it today but thankfully decided against it. After seeing the with and without pics I wont even install it to look like crap without being able to take advantage of the next gen settings

Mig im not exactly sure what part you are on tbh by looking at the screenshot as im way past it now, but this guide has came in handy once or twice for me.

Thats from the position i was at around 30 to 33% complete.

Thanks for the guide M8,i am now past the part in the screenshot i posted...i looked at the second rope swing and thought the route was from the ledge blocked by spears..

Did not consider jumping from the wheeled platform to gain at the two higher level bars on the damaged wheel (what ever you call it)... i said it may be more simple than it looks and it turned out it was.

i will only be using the guide at an absolute desperate position.

yeah i used it a few times just when I was trying to figure out what to do. still havent finished the game yet.

Great game though, best of all the tomb raiders, well apart from the first, that was the game that started it all !

(1st post)

I just finished this game and must say (post!) that it is one of the best that I have played. MUCH better than the other previous TombR's and every bit as good as Prince of P. I also admit to using walkthroughs once when I was really stuck. I have a 6800 and was blown away with the graphics but not too impressed with the camera controls (this has been one of the cons discussed by other reviews).

Will use this oppurtunity to thank Prasad Sristi for the giveaways.

i can't say for sure going by the region you're in but i paid £17 (UK from amazon.co.uk) which is extremely cheap for a legitimate disk bought at retail prices.

But i am a huge TR fan and will replay this game,even if it is just to see if i can complete the game quicker.

But in my mind TR 1 2 & 3 were top notch games,the two that followed were poor and spoilt the series.Legends has certainly brought this Genre back on par.

See that GUN right over there on the other side of the cavern, get over there and use the gun on the large statue to knock it down and break the statue thats stoping the wheel from moveing..... !

or just use the rope and swing over to unlock the first wheel... thats not the point i was stuck.The screenshot is at the second wheel where you need to get to the laddered wall on the other side..

Besides if you looked at the other posts after this post in question,This turned out to be way easier than it seemed,i just did not see the obvious route till several attempts later..

I'm way past this point now currently 45% complete and in Antarctica (i think) a while after the catch the train level.

yeah im past that point, i will have to start the game again though i deleted my saves when i formated my system by mistake lol this also deleted my OBLIVION saves aswell :O

I played it a bit last night and I am really suprised at the difference in visuals with Next Gen on and off. Holy crap, it's a system killer. I was forced to drop with to 1280 x 1024 to play the game somewhat smoothly, but it still runs like crap in certain parts, particularly when there's a lot to render. I can play it with the next gen stuff off and at a higher resolution, but honestly next gen stuff looks so much better when it's on than when it's off.

Btw, how do you take a screen shot?
