x1650XT man

GPUS in general fold better than CPUs, sometthing like a 2900 is better than quad cores i think.

performance differences between a 1650xt and x19xx ?? just lookin to build a cheap folding and server machine. I've got both my laptop and gamig rig folding, as well as my work compters. But I wanted to add a GPU in the mix. I have and extra am2 board and athlon 64 laying around, all I would need to build it up would be a graphics card. (hench the ati decission for folding as well)

Better purchase (folding in mind) ($60 1650xt 24 PS) or ($1xx x19xx 32PS) ??

Also keep in mind im a Ati Idiot, Last ati card I used was a 7500 or something...

all X1K cards are decent folders but i think the 1950 series shows off far more than the 1650

also i think the DX 10 3850s may be good folders as the stream processors are readily adapted by both ATI and Nvidia in their stuff

but im not sure about that....

I was under the impression that the 2xxx and 3xxx ati cards were not able to fold as of yet? That maybe in the near future. I would like to see a GPU folding app for the 8800 series nvidia cards... I would love to see what my gtx could do.
