Radeon HD 2600XT and F@H

Could someone please answer me if my card is supported by the F@H GPU client, if anyone has this information.
I couldn't find any information on F@H site, and I would really like to start folding if it is.
THX.

The X2000 cards are not supported yet, only X1600 to X1950. They are working on it.

Thank you very much for your answer, RoyBatty.
I'm new to F@H, so I don't know exactly what I should be doing, but I think I'll manage. Also I would like to ask is it possible for the CPU and GPU client to run at the same time.
THX.

It is possible, but the GPU client uses the CPU for feeding the GPU, so it's better to have a dual core (or HT enabled) CPU. There is some information in this thread: What's faster - X1600Pro or P4 3.74GHz?

And I think you could find more on the FAH forums: Folding-community.org :: Portal

A huge thanks for your replies, they have been very helpful and informative.
I guess I'll upgrade to A64 3800+ X2 soon, and as soon as the support for my card arrives, I'll try to make both CPU and GPU client work.
Cheers

yea I found out the hard way, when I tried to give it a go and it said my cards not supported...
I'd be interested in the difference the new cards might make.

The difference is quite big, both in processing speed and power consumption:

I haven't tested on the 2600/2400 yet, but it should work.

I am very interested in that X2xxx series, but for now I hope to try the dual GPU client with crossfired 1900's soon.

Same here. I can get a HD2600Pro for a very low price (with a powerconsumption of 18w!)

Does anybody know any date when support for HD2xxx will be added?
