It's really stupid that this client can't run on the X1900 GT I have at work. That's a stupid limitation.

It's really stupid, that you can't get it work.
The GPU client works with all X1900s (and X1600 ).
Check some threads in F@H's forum:

First time I've even done this, i'll configue tonight to get it to run better (dual core CPU). Maybe I'll set up the lappy, itt just runs most the time and doesn't do much but browse the web when the desktop is in use. Can you have the same user running more than one comp?

I found a log which seemed to say that the graphics card wasn't supported.
I'll try again with the graphical client, but frankly, I don't have patience for software that's not self explanatory. I'm already running the grid.org cancer app. I want to run F@H just to participate in the competition, but I don't want it enough to make me dedicate any serious time to getting it to run.

So the person who folds the most wins or is it random drawing of all the people who are on the team or something? Just wondering.. maybe it is written somewhere I didn't see. EDIT- I didn't even see how you enter the contest actually.. do you just join the team? I assumed so, but not sure. EDIT again.. ok I see right at the top it says if you join you will be entered. Cool.
Anyway
Your information
User name: DH_BWX
Team number: 51394
I hope that's the right team.. I'm new to this, never folded before.

Seems like they could also make one for an Nvidia GPU- like the 7900GTX I have, I am sure it could also out-perform any home desktop CPU.
