Thanks for the reply - We have this thread anyway
(p.s. I wasn't thinking about a seperate team, just continuing as a subteam for ATI's folding team, similar to 3DGPU.com that has a folding subteam under TechReport's folding team)

CPU GUI client. It is going faster now, only going to take a few days now to finish.

yeah a possibility, but I think the DH moniker before the name shows us all who we are.

Everyone keep folding, lets help ATI get up the rankings.

will this client work on an X1900 aiw card? I know it doesn't work with Omega's drivers on my card, so should I try the ATI drivers out, or will that be a waste of time?

It should - how to do it I can't say (as I don't have that card), but check this thread out for a full discusion on that card http://forum.folding-community.org/v...ic.php?t=16328

edit: I read something that you have to manually set the driver to X1900XT for it work properly. Or wait a few weeks for the new version of the GPU client.

Not at all. Its a great thing to be doing with your spare cpu cycles anyway, but you still could be in with a chance to win! But keep doing it after the winner is announced anyway. Maybe if the ATi/DH team hit number one we'll all get rewarded with that warm glow that only saving lives can bring. Or, y'know, maybe a t-shirt. Probably nothing, but folding is cool and those doing it know it!

2 days left! If you fold 48 hours straight, you might be able to get another packet in before the deadline. I can smell the x1900 already . You can send it to DH_deagz.

Hey, Judas, did you ever figure out how to get the multi-GPU client to work? At first I had trouble getting it working on the X1950 Pros, but then I realized something: when I have both monitors hooked up as per the instructions to extend the desktop, Windows displays them as monitors 1 and 3. If you go by the instructions in the FAQ that would indicate you should use one client with a "-local -gpu 0" command line switch, and the other with "-local -gpu 2", however this isn't the case. The second client should still be "-local -gpu 1", or else it will quit.

Once I got that sorted out things have been running along like crazy.
