Yay! Bush is great! He starts wars over oil and commies, he can't speak publicly, he's a puppet for his advisors, and he had a C average at Yale! WHEE!
Whereas, at least now Gore has a personality, is a lot more passive than war mongering, oil hungry Bush, and his picture can't be related to a chimpanzee!

pardon the pun, but I believe Bush has integrity, at least more than Al ever did, these are politicians you all are commenting about, worhty of equal amounts of contempt as well as praise...

Yeah, reno, real cogent analysis there. Firstly, Gore has no personality. It's also well known that Gore scored pretty mediocre in high school (Bs and Cs in history, Cs in French, As in art). Gore, during his sophmore year at Harvard, got a D, one C-minus, two Cs, two C-pluses, and one B-minus. That placed him, as the Washington Post reported, "in the bottom fifth of the class for the second year in a row." While Bush earned his MBA from Harvard, Gore flunked out of divinity school (he failed five out of eight classes), and dropped out of Vanderbilt University. So let me ask you this, if grades are SO important, how would Gore be a better president than Bush?

Well, Java, that works both ways. Gore entered Harvard with an 1355 SAT while Bush had only a 1206 SAT, and Gore did well in the classes related to government... Though I really think that its the actions that determine the man, not the grades...

I voted for Gore, but Jeb rigged the votes in Florida to allow his brother to win.

Wasn't the scoring system different for the SAT's 20 or so years ago? A 1206 doesn't sound great, but I'm not sure how the test has changed over time.

Yes, it was, the tests were harder back then, but the two presidents took the more or less same difficulty test... the SAT now doesn't test intelligence per se but more of SAT taking ability, and you can get a "perfect score" even if you miss or skip a couple...
