Amd Users Vs Intel Users
Ok, lets start a war here in the flame warzone, but lets keep it here and not have it spill into other places. Now, if you are an AMD user (or on their side) put "AMD" in your sig, same for Intel. And then its AMD Vs Intel on the flame warzone. Everybody bring up good points. Now, i heard a good point made by Uberlord (i think...) and he said that every time intel makes a new chip (ie: Celeron, p, p2, p3, p4) you have to upgrade your motherboard because the processors use different sockets. Yet AMD, their fierce competitor, does not... they keep the same socket with all their processors, except the Athlon MP of course. But still, that is a server processor, so we gamers don't really need them. Another good point, Athlons are so damn easy to OC, as appose to intel, which locks every fucking thing up like pu$$ies. Price/performance ratios, speaks for itself. Who needs or wants to spend $300 on a P4 2.4 GHz, when you can get a Athlon XP 2400+, which outperforms the P4, for so much less? Although, i must say, i would like to get a higher FSB and more cache, but the FSB is easily fixed by OCing it. I think intel needs to die and AMD needs to make processors with higher default FSB's and more cache. But you know, Cyrix's are still the best processors... no, i can't back that up. It was a bad joke to begin with. Anywho, Intel users need to fuckin wake up and smell the Athlons because P4's are just a waste of money.

JEEZUSS KRYSTE I am tired of this shit already.
They are both great processors get it through your goddamned skulls already.
Just pick one and shut the hell up about it.
Anyone who needs to find a corporate entity to "support" (they don't even bloody know YOU exist!), just to have some feeling of self-worth or accomplishment or assurance, is truly a sad sample of humanity, and perhaps we'd be happier off without such esteemless shells roaming the Internet.
NOW PISS OFF!!

Any intelligent discussion on this topic has already been covered by this thread: There are still people buying Intel?. Of course, all of the intelligence came from the AMD Camp.

Considering...I think...I was the ONLY person defending Intel for the majority of it.
I buy what I buy, and it's usually Intel. Fuck you fanboys *cough* Javafox *cough*, both companies have their perks. Both companies have their lamenitudes.

Ah, well, I suppose that speaks volumes.
Although, I think bcb64 (or whatever) was a Intel-whore like yourself.

There must be something about this AMD stuff if they have an AMD camp. My English fails me again... Is it about camping, like picknicks, or is it more like 'Arbeit macht frei'?
generalstupid has a good point, intel users need to wake up and smell the Athlons. Wonder how that camp thing smells... with all the big 'coolers' taking the smoke everywhere.
This must be the geek way to get high, smoking processors. Too expensive for me, and I'm the wine kind of guy, anyway.

It's pretty funny listening to JavaFox's pathetic rantings nowadays, he used to have some valid ideas but now all he has consists of this...
"Intel users are fanboys! But our AMD Camp is 1337!"
or
"Pot is for dummies, because the government tells me so...and I don't know anywhere to get pot from, because I'm a loser...so you can't have any because it's unfair!"
Also, another funny thing, is that JavaFox is the only person from the "AMD Camp" that actually considers himself (and all other AMD buyers) part of a "Camp."
Maybe he just needs a few friends...Java, will you be my friend?

Intel to Inteld... Amd to Amd
There's a difference between them, and yes, AMD is marginally better... but lets just lay both to rest and find a four-times-as-good alternative

INTEL BLOWS ... BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE MINDLESS USERS WHO BOUGHT ONE.... GAMERS, TECHS,SYSTEM BULDERS LOVE AMD....
I USED TO WORK AT AT LOCAL COMPANY AS THE LEAD TECH..
PER 1 INTEL WE SOLD WE SOLD ABT. 100 AMD
THE ONLY REASONS INTEL KEEPS IT'S MARKET SHARE IS BECOUSE OF ALL THE OTHER BUSINES IT DOES. AND THE FAST THAT BUSINESSES UPGRADE WHAT THEY HAVE WITH THE SAME CPU BRAND WORRING THAT THIER EXPENSIVE SOFTWARE WONT RUN ON THE AMD...( BECOUSE THEY ARE STUPID)... SINCE INTEL STARTED MARKETING TO BUSSINESSES AND AMD STARTED MARKETING TO GAMERS ... INTEL JUST GOT LUCKY... BUT AS THOSE GAMEING KIDS GO THROUGH SCHOOL AND BECOMES CEO'S,EXECS, Etc THAT WILL CHANGE

Ok DriveEuro, BOW DOWN TO THE PROHPHET TOSHIRO! Damn, I thought neon was nice but spammy, but he's getting downright hostile. An anonymous owner of this site has taken notice of you Neon, so I would suggest being a little nicer, a little less spammy, and acting maturely and reasonable...

raising old threads is a little annoying guys, certainly just for the sake of it, which appears to be the case with the ones that have been reported to me, and yes I know this is the flaming forum, but if you want to make some kind of statement try creating one or replying to a thread that is at least in some way active.
ill close this one.
ill be monitoring this over the coming weeks.
