No it's not debatable, and you are so wrong that it's most likely not worth the effort to educate you, but I'll try.
Since you are the product of 'Outcome Based Education', you will find it hard to believe, but there was a time when a person actually needed to work in school to get passing grades. That was back in the 60's when the teachers and University professors were conservatives. During that time President Bush EARNED an MBA at Harvard. That was not something that was just given out. President Bush was also an F-102 fighter pilot. I am a private pilot, and I know what to took to do that, and I have all the respect in the world for the guys that have enough INTELLIGENCE to manage all the systems in a supersonic fighter. Uncle Sam does not let 'idiots' drive multi-million supersonic fighters just because they have a famous daddy. From looking at your profile, I see that you are just a youngster, so I'll not hold it against you. Take the time to do some reaserch of your own, and don't just take someone else's word (including my own) word as gospel truth. One thing that you might do which would be a lot of fun as well as a good learning experience is to go to your local airport, and take an 'introductory ride' with an instructor. He will most likely let you handle the controls for a bit, and after you guide that 120 mph Cessna around for a bit, imagine what it would be like at 5-10x that speed. Then tell yourself that a person the can do that is an idiot

buzzard...you seem to be a good guy who likes to actually do his homework before opening his mouth...and i greatly admire that, and in no way mean to offend you or try and persuade you to believe otherwise as everyone has an opinion.
but: to educate someone(as you call it) based on your opinions and beliefs is propoganda, not education. Sadly this is how much of the world works, but, well, I can still point it out ![]() so let's all settle down before this thread explodes inot a partisan mess and remember: anyone to dumb enough to believe everythign coming from one man/party, simply b/c of who he is, or what party it is.....is in danger of losing any shred of individuality and 'self' that they possess. Vote for the guy who you believe in and liek the msot....not who's republican and who's democrat. PS - here's my 2 cents: anyone who wants to put up with all the shit the president gets...is an idiot

erm... sadly... that was never they way it worked.... any school has NEVER been unbiased and just rediculous.... School, sadly, in alot of places.... is to make children think and do whatever they are taught to do. And when one strays, or questions.... or anything... things get ugly for em....
what's most interesting, IS the statistical information that most if not generally all people don't know or want to realize.... that those that ask the questions and even may just pass on by without even trying through school.... end up being the boss....

Well...I just hope that the libs keep 'misunderestimating' him.
After I left data processing (for you kids that is called IT now) in 1982, I spent a little time selling cars. You wouldn't believe how much money I made from 'yuppies' that thought I was just some ignorant 'good old boy' because of the way I talked. I did it deliberatly, and it was like taking candy from babies. Don't be so quick to judge someone by apperances only. They may just be setting you up for the kill.

colleges work on bellcurve grading
therfore between 50 and 70% of students make a C or higher, depending on how you distribute the bellcurve. Honestly now..do you want some 'middle of the road(bellcurve)' guy runnign the msot powerful country in he world?...i'm afraid i'm with Dom on this one |

Then, as Dom pointed out, there is the great factor of the way he talks! And there are many websites dedicated to that factor alone. I've even seen pro-Bush documnetaries which made him look like an idiot... he seems like a very nice guy... but an idiot! Sadly, the majority of coleges grade to make themselves look a little better - it's the way things work - they are biased |

i dont think he's an idiot, but i am definitely not a big fan of him. i really don't like how he makes decisions based on partisanship such as banning abortion, going to war, gay marriage, and stem cell research. i mean, he did all of those things without looking at how each would affect the future. stem cell research is a must for today's people with diabetes, alzheimer's, and other defects. i strongly support it and it's one of the main reasons why im not going to vote for bush this coming november. i dont agree with abortion or gay marriage, but a president should not make those decisions because it's outlined in the republican platform... another thing would be the cost of healthcare. bush has done little to nothing to help americans with healthcare. there are doctors out there quitting their $100,000 paying jobs because they cant afford rising healthcare costs. kerry is by means no better than bush, but john edwards definitely brings more than dick cheney. with bush/cheney, you're not going to see much of a difference, and if you like our situation now, then go vote for them. if not, then there's kerry/edwards. imo, partisanship is so bad in this country that it's beginning to look like the guilded age back in the 1860s where you have useless presidents. when you look back at the iraq war 20 years from now, what are you going to see? violence, followed by even more violence.

i disagree with bush on alot of things, like abortion and stem cell research, and his plan for perscription drugs (although i disagree with the dems plan WAY more, as it would require such a huge tax increase that...well im not going to get into that now). but the fact is, if we put a spineless frenchman and a trial lawyer in office, we're screwed.
