Should i be happy? Or really freaking pissed off?
Ok, like i said i ordered my new cpu and it still hasnt gotten here (friday), now i ordered it on monday night and payed $12 for 2nd day shipping... i just got off the phone with them and they said that they can't gimme my $12 back but they will overnight it... now i dont think that fed ex delivers overnight on weekends, but heres the deal... if they dont then it will get here on monday, about when it should get here if i did ground shipping. So basically i will have spent $12 for nothing... should i be pissed or Happy? I'll let you decide...

For one you don't ask you demand.
Listen BUD. Don't let people walk over you.
I'd have someones innards on a plate by now.
Maybe before you make your next purchase you should contact Mac Daddy.
I still have a case pending with the BBB against Cogeco or Turner in the American world.
I take shit from no one. And neither should you BUD
Just my two cents

Sounding angry even if your not works wonders. I called up my cable comany and normmally it takes them like an hour and a half to get me through the system of everyone putting me on hold, but if I have an angry tone they seem to rush me through and it takes like 10 minutes. My friend tried it with his comany and acctually got a month of free cable because of it. So be sure you sound angry, as if your ready to come over and shoot it out or something. Companies (probably more like the undrpaid help desk people) don't want to deal with irate customers, so more often than not they will just work with your demands.

Nicely said.
Might I make the same comment I made to ToshiroOC a long time ago in galaxy FAR FAR AWAY.
Please format your posts so everyone can read them.
Sentences and paragraphs are welcome on DH.
Your ideas are welcome but would have more impact if they weren't so cluttered

ok well i just got my cpu and put it in and everything, so far i have it stable at 1.88 GHz, but then i have just started to OC...
EDIT: up to 2 GHz...
EDIT2: ok well i set the front side bus to 190 and windows wouldnt boot... (multiplyer = 11) i think i will change the memory timings...
EDIT3: ok well i have lowered the memory timings and now have it stable at 11X190... next up is the big 200!!!

You must have a disposible income. why are attempting to overclock, is this academic or are you really interested in improving the performance of the board and the OS...Or is a game driving your attempts. I personally overclock the FSB and rarely increase the voltage to the chip...Toms hardware has intersting info on this...and the Afro tech ghetto mod webiste as well...

Tip
If you want to avoid troubles you'd better not up the voltage.

Voltage........ Hmmm, most CPUs are designed to run for about 10 years..... I don't think that diminishing it to just 3-4 would be bad...... But overclocking only dimishes to about 5.

Bloody Vikings.....
(insert Monty Python clip...) I have never taken a cpu beyond what it is capable of delivering, but I use ASUS boards and I have pleny of room for cooling and plenty of options in the bios...but the OS was never stable above a realistic parameter...now overclocking an XBOX....that sounds like fun, anyone tried it?
