I agree with you on ATI being superior to Nvidia in terms of IQ.

I regret buying my 7900GT's(fast cards, and IQ is decent) but the drivers are horrible, for once the DHZeropoint 92.91 drivers are working great(had issues with previous DHZ's). Good speed, better IQ, runs like a dream now, but I still remember how 2D and colors were so much crisper and vibrant naturally with ATI drivers. No matter how much I fiddle with Digital Vibrance I can never match what ATI brought to the table with vivid colors.

I wish I could trade my 7900GT's and Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe + 100-150 bucks for 2 X1900XT's and a 3200 Crossfire Mobo(asus version).

That doesnt mean much to me mate,
most people are going to install either official or nvidia official drivers with a new card purchase....

even so with this drivers i still cant see there being a huge leap in quality
without some modification to them wich NVIDIA hasnt done to improve them.

I'm surprised so many people see such a difference in 2D quality. Between my X800XL and 7900GTX, there is no difference at all on this CRT.

I'd say just ignore those ATI fanboys, they are the only ones keeping that company alive.

Its like buying sh*tty music. You don't want to face the fact that you threw away your money so you force yourself to like it.

actually....fanboys are the only ones who keep any company alive when the company is going through hard times....just look at intel up until the core 2 was released

Yep, that is very true.

Also I bought a 7800GTX(Best performance/price ratio) because I didn't want to wait just to waste my money on a 1800XTX, which wasn't anywhere near as good as anyone hyped it up to be. I still stand by my decision of parts I built my computer with.

My opinion on it is 7800GTX > 1800XT and I probably payed less than you did for yours and had mine sooner. As for quality, well thats why I'm on the DHZP Beta Test team for Nvidia. I'm not gunna complain about something without trying to make a decent effort to fix it first.

Like I said, its not my fault you bought sh*tty music cause ur a fanboy.

I've seen the quality of CS:S (just tested that game cause my friend and I had both) on a x1800xt based system and my system. We both had the latest DHZP sets and we both thought Nvidia's looked better (not tryin to downplay the ATI set because that is superb but this new Nvidia set was amazing).

I built my system based on what was available at the time and I am still happy with it today. I did not build my system because I favor a certain brand like some idiots (fanboys) and build my system restricting myself to what I felt obligated to use because of my support for the manufacturer.

And yes I do use the term fanboy a lot because there are quite a lot on this site.

Any ATI is always better than Nvidia and AMD is always better than Intel (and vise versa) on proves you are an idiot who wastes their money because you feel obligated to buy by brand because you support that company.

Isn't smarter to research and buy what has the best performance/price ratio then always buy ATI or Nvidia, AMD or Intel? I think so.
