Komplett.co.uk ad

The ad seems to be placed in the wrong place, its up in the right hand corner, overlapping the driver heaven logo/name.

craig is working on a way to get the ad into the banner without the issues its causing at certain resolutions. not sure what he can come up with.

ok then, so maybe is the komplett.co.uk as well, damn 67% is still too high, and im running my cpu in 1800+ mode

it doesnt look better in ie6 anyway:

worst for the neonheaven theme:

but at least it doesnt use same CPU overhead on ie6 i guess

why do you guys continue reporting the same thing when ive already answered it in the thread?

I know the problem with the ad, its dependent on your resolution, we are looking into it, and craig will see what he can do.

well, i was just trying to give more info about the problem, dont worry i wont try to do anything like that again

edit: ohh yeah, and the CPU overhead issue is not resolution dependant

edit2: ohhh yeah, and if u see in my sshots the default theme and the neonheaven use a different sized ad

BTW why dont u just take that ad down instead of fixing it, its plain ugly, and after this no more words out of my keyboard, so bye bye

relax, there is simply no need to tell me there is a problem with the ad when ive already answered before you saying I know there is and we are working on it.

CPU overhead is obviously due to flash hitting your system, I cant reproduce it, however I dont think you are lying , if you send me a DXdiag with cpu loads on pages, and let me know when they peak or dip I can investigate

yes I know, we did that intentionally but we have other ideas to implement.

Because advertising funds the site, the members dont. I think you would rather see an "ugly" ad than no site at all, right?
