Zardon How about ATI Chat a one day of each month?
Maybe we should have ati chat a day each month? That way ATI can gather there info more quicker. I'd have idea how conduct this chat we need have people take answer questions to the ati guys then they replay one at a time. Then your question can be ask back by one of them at a time. Like they do with ms beta chats So what do you think? And what do other people think? Good idea or bad?

That'd be awesome. DH would become a major source of insider ATI info.

While it sounds like a great idea, I think it's kind of impractical. Every site would love to have something like this, and we all have questions and some of which ATI doesn't want to or can't answer for many reasons.
Maybe we could have a question of the month? Vote on the number one question we would like ATI to answer to make things more organized?

Yeah, that would work much more organized, then having a flood of a million questions/idea at once.

busy people and there are hundreds of thousands of sites

I already think Catalyst Maker does a very excellent job around here and the rest of the staff of ATI are very generous by letting us interview them. Like I said having an ATI question day is just a bit too impractical, having a few questions per month is more practical but it's up to them.
Either way they shouldn't feel pressured, they already do a much better job talking and releasing information tot he community than many other companies.

He can come and go as he pleases, he has no obligation to answer any of our questions. He does it as a favor to all of us and I respect him a lot for that. I rarely see any other companies doing things like that.

Oh of course, I know that but I'm saying, since it's been a while since he last came on, maybe they're too busy for this sorta idea?

Maybe you arent looking in the right places.
He has posted several times in the catalyst forum as well as the news forum with ATI related products and information - he also posts now with other new ati staff members who have joined up recently. I talk to him everyday at least once. They are exceptionally busy guys but they do care about you guys on the site.
Ok, with regards to the initial question, personally I think its not a good idea, primarily because ive seen rage3d holding the IRC chats and they dont run particularly smoothy or give much at the end of the session that a good interview cant answer in a better fashion.
if you guys have questions, which I feel myself are important ill have a chat with terry and get answers.

yea that would be nice.
instead of a chat all the members can pm you with one question and you put them together and have a nice long chat with terry.
you can try this like once every 2 months or so?
