install pop ups - from Canada Inc
when i am movign around the forum i keep getting a pop up trying to install something from "Canada Inc."

There's absolutely no popup/installer code on the forums at all.
Run a full spyware scan, and if you get them again take a screen shot of the banners that show up at the top and bottom of the page. It may be a rogue ad, but i'd say its probably spyware. |

no pop ups on the forum here, you'll need adaware SE, Spybot S&D, and Spyware Blaster, all updated, with spybot and Spyware blaster u need to Enable the cookie protection.(Immunization in Spybot) Then id also recomend Crap Cleaner, the firt time i ran this prog a few months bak i deleted over 500 MB of temp files!

Never encountered any pop-ups here; only annoying ads.

sorry i wasnt very clear, they aren't pop ups as such but those "pop ups" you get from someone trying to install software on your computer - do you trust ... etc.
it may well be my crappy work computer where it is an unsecured IE  nana |

hmmm
i will have to get tech deskk up to sort out comp - it is such a piece of crap and i cant install anything or do anything at all i am on NT4 :/ mare |
