time zone issues?

well my time is supposed to be GMT -5 since that is what i selected in my user options, instead at the bottom it says GMT -4 giving me the time 1 hr ahead of usual. i had to select GMT -6 to get the time to be correctly displayed as "All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:15 PM". there must be an error, i am having to set the time one hr negative to get it display correctly on the forum.

not really he is saying the clock is one hour out to his specific time zone and he fixed it by altering the settings by one hour in the other direction.

GMT time is fine here its right for me (im in GMT zone), perhaps its a local summer/winter saving thing in his area. I think this has been brought up before, I dont really this as an issue, I never even look at the time at the bottom of DH, I use the taskbar.

I'm +1 GMT and I have NEVER found the time on anyforum.

Always use taskbar one of my watch...

I had the same issue, and solved it by turning off automatic day light savings time, I think a few clicks twice a year extra aint gonna kill me

something strange happened here... i made a post lastnight at 1am, woke up this morning at 10 and it said i made the post at 9:41am, which was impossible.... somethings not right...

weird. i had to use GMT -9 "alaska" to have my time zone show up right. I'm supposed to be GMT -8 PST.

Well the times on all the posts should be GMT (server time zone) - if you are in california zone that would explain the 8 hours difference. if it wasnt like this before, ive no idea - everything seems fine, nothing broken as such. craig upgraded VB last night perhaps something has changed. have you checked your settings?

yep all my settings are good, everything is fine now, it was just this morning, Im not in a california zone in in Brisbane, Australia zone.
