Media Player 9... Links removed due to request by Microsoft
iexbeta.com have taken their links down for "Windows Media Player 9 Leaked to the Web" because "Links removed due to request by Microsoft".
So Microsoft don't seem to mind us all beta testing sp1 then! Very interesting  |

Well WMP9 is a whole new product. And featuring teachnology that have not really been released. I dont think they like "us" betatesting their suff.

Does WMP9 play DVDs right off the bat (as opposed to having to have another DVD player installed)? If so, that's probably the biggest reason for them to try and stop distrabution.. same reason ATI went after those people who were posting new versions of MMC (which includes ATI DVD player).

microsoft arent overjoyed with that either, I cant talk about it right now, but more leaks may not be possible.
