...you can't even use the backdoor search.... It could be disabled to allow the server to keep up with the requests lately.... With search disabled it doesn't have to do nearly as much work...

yea but it makes it a pain in the arse to find new posts and i can feal old posts getting dreged up.... lol ... i'm haveing to go forum by forum this sucks

It was disabled due to the demand for the new article, better to have a site without search than no site as it was frequent 404's. It shouldn't be permantant jus' once the loads die down sometime today.

Had to disable searching as at takes up a lot of time on our lowly server if loads of peeps are using it.
