Very slow DH
I've noticed that when more than 100 members/visitors are on the forums, DH slows to a crawl. It's been like this since last week and it's extremely hard to even get in. Just thought I'd let you guys know
Thx

Yep, I noticed this aswell. Just come back from a week long DH vacation and I can't believe how slow this is. I would compare it much more to 56k dialup.

I wouldn't be one bit surprised to find that it's due to the new Omegadrivers being announced. I'm sure plenty of people are downloading presently.

I myself have noticed no slowdown. Also using dial up here. I agree that since Omega has introduced new drivers we are getting hammered and a slight slowdown is to be expected. If it becomes worse we will look at helping it out.

I have noticed a little slow down earlier today but seems better now.... I actually thought maybe the slowdown was the network here at work......

For me, it was very slow during the anticipation of the realease of the Cat 3.7's, I too was getting alot of 'server busy' messages. Well, I haven't gotten that since the 3.7's finally released, but it seems the forums have never fully recovered since and have been somewhat slower than usual. But I'd have to say that right now, they seem to be pretty much back to normal for me. At least, when I clicked on my shortcut for the DH homepage, it came up almost instantly.
