Sumitting Replies = No Visible Response
I'm posting replies and clicking the Submit button, but, there's no response on the screen. If I click the Submit again within 30 seconds, I get the 'Administrator has restriected .... from posting within 30 seconds' message.
Posts appear to be going through, but there's not a "Thank you for posting" screen.

dyre, when was the last time you reformatted the OS? the reason im saying is, that everytime I log on you seem to have a problem ......... might be time to clear out your rig and start afresh bud. if you have a relatively fresh os ........ try using a public proxy server to see if your ISP are experiencing caching problems.

I am experiencing this myself as of today. That is the reason for my double posts, I did not know I was doing it. I am going to clean up a few things on my end real quick and see what happens. Also in when I click on certain threads I get a blank white page with text on the top like, ice->, tr> just to name a few. I think another member here was also having the same issue here recently. Let me try a few things to see if I can clear it up for me.

Okay, if you guys have any more similar problems, please PM me with all the info you can, and if it is reproducable, as well as if you are having issues on other sites, preferably other vBulletin-powered sites.
I'd like to narrow this down, but I'm going to need some more information, like exactly how it happened and what you were trying to do in which thread/forum, etc.
Thanks

Z,
I just did a fresh install of XP Home a little over a week ago.
I do see others are reporting it now as well.
Things 'seem' to be responding faster at the moment. I just got back from lunch and a trip to CompUSA. I'll update this report as needed.
EDIT: Same situation exists as of now. I hit the Submit button and there was no response. I hit the Refresh page on IE6 and it showed a blank post. I re-entered the thread and my post shows up just fine.
Cyborg, all I was trying to do was post a reply to this thread.
EDIT 2: SAVE CHANGES works as it should.

Cyborg,
What's happening is this: I enter my message and then scroll down to the SUBMIT REPLY button. I click on that and there's no response. My post stays on the screen without going to the "Your message has been......" screen.
If I hit the SUBMIT REPLY button too quickly I get the "......cannot post within 30 seconds....." message screen.
If I click on the REFRESH PAGE button in IE6 at the top of the screen, it just produces a page where I can enter my message again....without the previous message appearing.
If it does it again on this post, I'll see what I can do to comply with your request.
EDIT: This one worked correctly.

It just did it again for me. When i use the quick reply everytime now it will give me a blank white page. This one said in the top left corner tr> . The url is exactly the same as if the reply went on like usual. In order for me to get the quick reply to work i hit refresh and it works then. I have just went thru my computer and scanned everything and checked all i know. ATM nothing on my end seems messed up.
EDIT: it just did it with me when using the normal reply as well. Same blank page with tr> on the left top corner. I am using IE6 and am up to date.

Okay I replied this time with the regular reply button. In the post above this one I used the quick reply. Both of them worked without a hitch. No problems for me when using the new truly heaven style.
EDIT: I hate to say this but for me DH is the only place I am having any problems. I have been to some other sites and have no problems.

there is no real need to post continually in here if its working, but id appreciate it and im sure cyborg would for any possible research if we can narrow the problems down as much as possible.
so if you can over the next few days switch between themes and see if the problems are happening on both. there is always a possibility its routing to certain regions.

OK...after a couple of days:
It seems if I use the default theme, I have no trouble replying to posts. If I use the TrulyHeaven theme, I do have problems.....but not always.

The thing is, the same problem is appearing for people with the other theme (specifically people recieving just the notice --> on the page, which only exists in the blueheaven templates)
I am frankly at a loss here...
