I wouldn't mind some banner ad's.

Even if there is enough money coming in from donations, I don't think it'd be bad at all if Driver Heaven started to show some banner ad's to help extra cash flow. As long as the extremely annoying pop-ups and constantly flashing animated banners are kept out, I doubt anybody would complain.

If we MUST have ads, let's have them be HARDWARE ads from companies such as Abit (the only mainboard I've used for 4 years running in hundreds of machines!), or Logitech, Crucial, etc - I for sure don't want to see any

Nor do I care how much I won't win when I won't go click on the damn tree.

Get the hardware companies to sponsor the place, or sponsor forums specifically for their gear, and price it so that minimal user contribution covers anything else, and you're set.

Driverheaven will never have ads or pop ups as I hate them and always have, but I will say this site doesnt come cheap and I hope more people will click the paypal and donate a little bit of money. Driverheaven is run from a dedicated server.

The amount of donations I receive is really quite disappointing and I had expected more people might donate a dollar or 2 to help the place keep running.

we are working on other things, but in response to the initial post, no I wont have ads on Driverheaven.

advertising SUCKS.

I wouldnt be worrying, ive been running websites for 7 years now. if I feel its necessary to have ads, ill sell my soul to the devil and put them up.

Driverheaven is the favourite website that I own, dont worry it wont go down. not unless I get hit by a truck or lose my job.
