Things to improve the site
This site has been here since may 2002, and while I feel the content is pretty much as well rounded as can be, id like to hear what you feel you would like to see to improve the site or what things you would like to see happening.
Comments are welcome.

I agree that the site is very well-rounded as it is. There really isn't much I could think of to make it better. Maybe more hardware reviews/articles.. I always enjoy reading those. I'm not sure what else to suggest. I'll have to think on it for a little bit.

so really what you are saying is the site could be improved if I got you a 5600 video card to compare to your 9500?

Yeah, and I think the site would be better if I got a free 9800 pro (256mb), OCZ 3500mem (1 gig), Nf7 2.0, and an AMD xp3200- Yeah, that would make it a better site!
Really though, It's doing pretty good right now. I don't see a problem w/ more "off topic" type threads, as long as people that need technical help still get help.

Pretty much exactly waht I was saying....funny how easy it can be to read between the lines
I am also curious how the two will react to the nvidia chipset on my mainboard...do you think the FX 5600 will have an advantage due to the Nvidia input or will the ATi card still come out on top????

You seem an intelligent guy Drive and much more tech savvy than me but you're not very good at expressing yourself. I'm sure you don't mean to be critical and 'holier than thou' but sometimes that's the way you appear to people. I'm sure that there is a lot more that you could contribute to the site but please try to make your comments a little more constructive.
Believe me, it takes a lot more to keep a site like this going than either you or I realise and we can only praise Zardon for his efforts thus far! Here's to the future!

I believe cutting down on the NEWS that just get posted (Iie taken from Warp2Search, Inq etc..) To me this site doesn't need it and actually detract from it. Stick to the name of the place. That should be it main purpose. Fill this part of the comunity. Expand that. Keep news more specific to that. We don't need anohter 25 + post a day of purely linked news. It doesn't look good. Leave it to the millions of other sites do the same thing. As for the forums. Hey have the news if you want. But only driver or specific nes need to be posted. 30 BIOS updates isn't news! NEw Drivers or driver comparison Should be the news for this site. Driver review should be. You don't NEED to be All-Rounded. Get more Specific.
OR An All Rounded Driver Heaven Not specific to one driver type. Get them all, a Driver Community.
Other wise you'll just be like the rest, maybe popular but with nothing usefull. Soon get bandwidth problem, no one will come and youu'll soon need to close.
Not something that should happen JUST to get more people here.

(Just to add)
Good things about the site to keep
off the top of my head I can think of these..
Nice Clean appearence (but looking at the new look, you've kept it )
Nice people
Good selection of Forum Categories. (maybe lacking some knowledge in specific areas, but that's not a problem)
Good association with Driver modders and makers
Very little flaming (a very very good thing, makes it a please to come here)
Fun atmosphere
Little Niggles.....
Huge sigs in the forums. They make it difficult to read what's important, ie the post. And slow the place down.
God help thoose on a 56K modem (I help run a few forums and we pretty much ban them now. unless they are small in size and filesize). Good witty one liner text sigs are far better (and chear you up too ). Not sure if this effects you direct bandwitdh either.
I might not participate that much in the forums but I come here a lot and you want comments. I don't mind giving comment's on what I see, as I hope this place can get better and stay around for a long time.

If a use is on 56k he can disable showing sigs in his user options.

I ran 14.4kb modem and connection for the longest time.... i even spent a good year on DH with sigs and whatnot.... really, it isn't that bad as long as everyone obeys the rules...... 35kb signature doesn't take to long.... and if your still on dial-up..it's to be seen that things are going to get vastly worse overall..... but yes... dh doesn't need high end/quality shockwave animation all over the place....

I have vBulletin set not to show embedded images, so instead of sigs images (or any other images for that matter), I just see links. I much prefer this option.

suggestion #1 CHANGE THE LAYOUT i dont know is it just me but i cant stand this layout anymore i used to like it but i cant stand it anymore (i know you guys are working on a new one looks great )
suggestion #2 we should have some kindoff a competition like user game or hardware reviews then each month we have a poll who made the best reviews that month and he gets a prise or seomthing like that
these are things i think would improve the site

change the "news archive" (in the menu left of the screen) to link to a custom php script that shows all the threads (titles only, linking to the vbb thread) of the last 2 days
reading the news forum with vbb is shitty cuzz when someone replies, a (old) thread jumps to the top of the page.
