I have absolutely no idea why this is happening and I cant see why it would be linked to driverheaven..
try disabling messenger services via start/run/gpedit.msc

Do you use XP and do you have windows auto-update enabled? If so, it could be something that M$ snuck on you behind your back....

I just checked the ads and I cant see anything in the code or in the way they are being handled which would cause this to happen, DH doesnt have any spyware or added apps to load programs, the only thing you will get are cookies to retain your password on the machine so you stay logged in.

we are investigating this and im in talks with our ad company to see what is happening.
If anyone is getting this please PM myself or any admin with exact details of what was happening at the moment you got the request and any ads that were showing at the time you were on the site.

My google toolbar blocked a pop-up on this site earlier today. I don't know what it was, but I've never had any popups on this site before. I didn't think anything of it, but it could be related.

if you can please send me more details of this. there is no popup code on this site as I HATE them myself. all of this has to be some ad code problem within the rotating ad script the provider is running.

Thank you, as I said there is no popup ad code on this site.......... I hate popups, so its obviously something else. its just finding out exactly what it is as I have failed miserably to reproduce it.

try to use your software FW to block "uk.msnusers.com" and the popup should stop. the code is here somewhere i know one of it at "message in between threads" in feedback, go there and you will get the popup!

I cant reproduce it no matter what I do, firewall off, on, ports blocked, ports not blocked, different pages, even clicking on ads... thats the whole problem, and neither can any of the admins. which is making it even harder to find/fix.
