Well, it's obviously the browser and version - front page lays out fine using Safari for Windows...

I have played with it all weekend and i have mixed feelings Zardon.
I like the design, I hate the flash and the page really needs to be moved about to make it more intuitive for everyone.
I hope you can bring these changes in, cause ive bookmarked the news forum as my home page in the time being. It also loads really slow for me.

I realize that's pretty normal, but with FF3.0b3 it was kinda nice to have everything zoom, and not just text, but even that did not help.

As a side note, Opera can zoom and still have everything look pretty.
Personally, I rarely visit the front page anyway, I just read the boards, and get the links to reviews, articles and news from here, so it doesn't make much of a difference for me.
Getting some of the wonky black spaces on the main page from the computer I'm currently using, although some of the ads show up, the working ones differ depending on which browser I use. (Everything shows up in Firefox, IE and Opera are missing 1 and 2 ads, respectively) Might just be a flash installation issue, but it seems as though a number of people are getting it...

Just TYSK.

getting this same issue at 1680*1050 opera and IE7, both up to date.
looking forward to that Zotac flash ad being moved left or right from the center, also i would like to see more info, as in who and when in the forum activity section, along with a button to the last post.
For the most part i have no quarrels with the front page, just would like to see it rearranged as said in prior posting, and maybe a lil larger section for the forum activity area along with the suggestions above.

i found a small dot on the front page to the nesw links. i circled what it is that i'm talking about. basically it's a link on the front page w/no text. at first i thought it was a dead pixel on my monitor, but it moved with the screen, so i know it wasn't a dead pixel at that point.

Thanks for your feedback so far guys, we've got a solid week of fixes and changes coming for you, you probably won't see work being done, as it's being undertaken in our development environment to minimise disruption and will be rolled out onto the live server as soon as it's tested and functioning. Thanks for your patience and support.

Oh, and before the change I had a donation emblem thing like this-
And had access to the "EL" if ya know what I mean, but after the changeover, no donation medal or access to the "EL"..
BTW, I know I didn't have a gold member status, but I still had the extreme donation status thingy..

Only partly linked to the new site design but:
the AC Accelero article had no link to the forum discussion topic hence the probable lack of discussion (probably just an oversight).

IMHO the placement of the next and last buttons apearing at the top and bottom of the new review layout should be switched around. As it is now if they were arrows they would point at each other.
Edit. nevermind, i opened my eyes
Edit 2. then u guys opened them wider!

Sweet I like the changes, except I keep looking at the guy with his fingers poised in the top left but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. Otherwise the whole new feel is new yet old and thats how I like it.
