so, i was thinking if the "driverheaven's heaven" forum section be retitled. i think it should read, "driverheaven's heaven, 56k beware!" or something similar since pix is what is loaded up there mostly.

ok, well i really didn't mean to insult you buddy. Was just saying that last comment wasn't really a bug report or anything really that important. I mean if we add "56k beware" it encompasses the site feedback forum, heavenly echoes etc which wouldn't be too clever. I think people expect pictures in the heavenly visions forum and if people post pictures in the off topic they would tend to mark them for 56k users already....... agree?

oh, i wasn't insulted in any way. and yes, you're right about that already. people going there are to expect images.

i was just making the comment because temeteus added the "56k beware" header to like one of the very few posts i make in there. i was just thinking to myself exactly what you just said, people should go in there expecting images.

but enough of my off-topicness in the new site feedback thread!

nice, IMHO thats exactly what was needed without a complete overhaul of that section,

craig, might you know why opera 9.26 consitantly logs me out of DH? i thought it was crapcleaner but its not, all other sites i am logged into stay logged in after ccleaner and dh used to for me, i can log in and browse the site, close the browser for 10 mins and do whatever, come back and open up DH and have to log back in, even without runnin ccleaner? any ideas?

I have read your questions on this before and I have no answers, because I use the same browser for DH and most other sites and the issue you are experiencing im assuming is something else involved in the mix. The only thing you are having issues with is the DH password cookie so it has to be something deleting it. (I am sure you have toggled off the delete cookies on browser exit option.) This cookie is handled by all the major browsers in exactly the same manner so you need to test that the site works with firefox and IE. Let us know if you have this issue with the other browsers.

Well fire fox 3 beta 4 retained the cookie throughout multiple ccleaner runs and an at least 12 hour period, i hadn't open it since yesterday and when i did i was still logged into DH,

I very rarely use IE7 but i logged into dh and 2 other sites just now, after messing around in FF3b4 checking the situation i looked around in opera (had to log in)then went back to ie7 to check, clicking the favorites for each site, i had to log in at DH and the other 2 were logged in

closed ie7 opened opera and had to log back in, opened ff3b4, was logged in and posted this

if you think the problem is on my end i wont post in here anymore, just never had any issues like this before.

I am actually sure it is, but I don't mean to sound like i don't care ! Opera is my own personal browser of choice and I use it for DH on a much more advanced level than yourself, such as our admin panels and review posting system etc and it is virtually flawless.

I strongly advise you to deinstall opera 9.26, clean your registry of all its entries, and try a fresh, clean reinstall to see if it helps this rather weird issue. It is just so hard for me to diagnose this without sitting at your screen buddy, there are a plethora of combinations of software that could possibly be causing this on some level or another. Oh yes, don't touch the latest opera beta which they are offering, it is pretty much a work in process like IE8 and has huge issues across the board.

if opera is the culprit causing this, uninstalling and cleaning of reg for opera, you think this will help out on the ie7 side of things?

is there something that opera and ie7 do the same with cookies that the new ff3b4 doesn't?

oh sorry I misread your last post, you are having the same issue with IE7 as well? I honestly have no idea what is going on then. It does sound like something is cleaning your cookies however, quite what that would be, I dont know.

Just a small addition that may be welcome to some members.

Under the additional information in My CP options. When it comes to the Pc Specs,Seeing as cpu/mobo/cpu etc is important.

Should an option for soundcard be included.
