Assassins Creed II is the long awaited followup to the hugely successful 2007 Ubisoft romp which sold en masse and met with both critic and public approval. Sure, there were some issues but overall it was an entertaining and immersive game which ended up with a huge following. Left4Dead was one of the most successful multiplayer games in recent years so it made sense for Valve to follow this up with a sequel .... however a portion of the core audience felt it was a rash move to make one so quite so soon.
