After managing to install it, i also wanted more ram for the graphics, when i clicked search it wanted a inf file, which wasn't to be found anywhere in any of my ATI folders.
I have Windows 7 32bit Pro

Hello! It's my first post:D

Anyway, I have a Acer Extensa 5620G laptop with a ATI Mobility Radeon 2400 XT graphics card(running Windows XP SP3). Older 8.xx versions worked great with it(modded drivers of course).

However, when I tried to install 9.11(with this new installation manager), everything looked almost great with one exception - drivers could not be installed because they were unsigned(this was said at the end of the installation). I tried turning off the check for signed drivers in Windows XP but that did not have any effect. Do you guys have some advice?

EDIT: I managed to install Catalyst 9.1 with drivers, but it's using the old setup(not the new install manager).

I'm trying to install Catalyst 9.11 on Windows 7 32bits.
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4530.
I've modded them with the mobility modder just like always,
but when it tries to install, it only says: INF File not Found. :(
I've had no problem so far with any other version before.
So this may be a problem within this new drivers set.
Have someone get this error too? Is there any solution?

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I have successfully installed the latest drivers from HP.
They are rather old and for vista only. But they work!
I have tried several times to install new ones just as i have wrote above,
but no one have been installed ok. I had installed before other modified drivers,
since 9.6 on Windows 7, but since i have tried to install those modified 9.11, i can't
install other modified drivers, than the official HP ones. Dunno why.

Hi all. Great site. I will do the official "Hello" thing in a bit but as I have been going thru hell the past 3 weeks trying to get my HD Radeon 3670 to install with ccc (ver9.9 0r 9.10) on my Dell xps studio 1640 laptop I really need this fixed before I lose more time.
I currently have the Windows 7 Pro 64bit(via clean install) driver installed. It works about 40% of the time. Then it cacks out and I am unable to even run a screensaver or have my Zune 4.2 SW working above basic.
I've never used the modder tool so I want to make sure I get this right. Hence my header. Do I need to install the msxml for 7? If so which one? After this is done or not I would then dl'd the desktop 9.10 ,extract but stop @ install then run the mod tool. Is this correct? Any & all feedback is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Now, how can I install the catalyst control center? This is what I get when I try to install Catalyst:

maybe somebody can help me. Last week I installed Windows 7 Professional. I modified the 64bit version of the latest Catyst Driver (9.10) with all components (Driver, CCC, Hydravision and Avivo) included in the subdirectory "packages".
But when I run setup in custom mode I only see entries for Driver, CCC and Hydravision.
I hope somebody can help me.

Hi there.

I have Ati mobility radeon hd 3470 and 9.10 (8.661.x) driver installed but trying to install the newest beta (ati-opencl-beta-driver-v2.0-beta4-vista-win7.zip) (8.670.x).

I'm also using Windows 7 64bit.

Modded with the newest mobilitymodder, changed all .inf files and still no luck. Everything else install nicely except the actual driver! What to do, what to do?

The error I'm getting is: "Driver Install: the driver package does not specify a hardware identifier".

Getting tired of Borderlands freezing again and again. I think it's Ati to blame here...so perhaps the beta could fix this :P

Hi. i came to the mod tool for help because when i play assassin's creed for pc, i get up to the second memory block and there are sort of like scratches in the screen and i believe it is because of my old driver for my laptop. I just got this game today too so i know it can't be scratched. but anyway I came to your site and because i have a x1400 series ati modem, i did some research and apparantely downloading the 8.3 version is the best way to go for me. SO i did and got up to the part where it said run setup.exe.
Two things. 1. there is a setup application and a setup.exe.manifest (which one should i choose because the second one i can't open without some extractor i think
2. when i choose the first one, the same things downloaded when i originally installed the version 8.3

what do i do?
