I'm trying to install Catalyst 9.11 on Windows 7 32bits.
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4530.
I've modded them with the mobility modder just like always,
but when it tries to install, it only says: INF File not Found. :(
I've had no problem so far with any other version before.
So this may be a problem within this new drivers set.
Have someone get this error too? Is there any solution?

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE: I have successfully installed the latest drivers from HP.
They are rather old and for vista only. But they work!
I have tried several times to install new ones just as i have wrote above,
but no one have been installed ok. I had installed before other modified drivers,
since 9.6 on Windows 7, but since i have tried to install those modified 9.11, i can't
install other modified drivers, than the official HP ones. Dunno why.

Hey. I'll begin from the start. Once I had Vista on my laptop, but wanted to change back to XP. So the problem begins. I use AutoCad a lot. When installed XP, I installed also drivers for Radon from Toshiba (manufacturer of my laptop). Name of installation - display-20071207143025. Link - http://downloads.zdnet.com/abstract.aspx?docid=645795 (from Tohsiba - manufacturer of my laptop). As you can see, they're so old (2007 year). But AutoCad worked and so did game, that I play a lot - Frets on Fire. Recently I installed Dragon Age (new game from BioWare) and had artifacts with those drivers (often screen changes unnaturally colours - pink, green, yellow etc.). So... I downloaded Drivers Catalyst 9.10, used Mobility Modder (of course Windows warns me that drivers are not certified) and - artifacts in Dragon Age are gone. But, when I try to use 3d view in AutoCad, it cracks. When I try to run Frets on Fire there is a hourglass for a moment by a coursor, screen turns blacks and immediately returns to Windows' desktop. Log from this error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "FretsOnFire.py", line 85, in <module>
File "GameEngine.pyo", line 374, in run
File "data/PyOpenGL-3.0.0a5-py2.5.egg\OpenGL\error.py", line 92, in __str__
self.shortRepr( value ),
File "data/PyOpenGL-3.0.0a5-py2.5.egg\OpenGL\error.py", line 123, in shortRepr
if isinstance( value, (list, tuple) ) and value and len(repr(value))>=40:
MemoryError

Any ideas? I can't change drivers every time I want to use AutoCad or play DragonAge. Not to mention, that AutoCad is a very demanding program for a graphic card, so such old drivers are no good for it.

Update 1: I've also tried drivers 9.1; 9.2; 9.3; 9.8; 9,9. None of them worked. The same problem as with 9.10.

Update 2: Finally, it works. Thanks to user who wrote this:
"
for mobility hd2600 & winxp x32:

download DESKTOP Radeon HD2600 driver & ccc for winxp (option 2 - Individual Downloads)

extract both, then interrupt installation after extraction is complete

in folder 9_3_xp32_dd/XP_INF, go to the file CX_####.inf

add this line
"ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600" = ati2mtag_RV630, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9581
to the list under
[ATI.Mfg.NTx86]
save

then either
1. in device manager > update driver (ati card) > point to the .inf file
or
2. add ",0x9581" to the end of the second line (turn off word wrap in notepad!) of the chapter under [WINXP] starting with "R6=DriverPath_R6" of both files
\ATI\SUPPORT\[Current Version]\Driver\Driver\CX_*****.INI
&
\ATI\SUPPORT\[Current Version]\Driver\Driver\INSTALL.INI
then install the dd the regular way (setup.exe)

and install ccc
restart

I made it to work at last on my X1600 :) here what I have done, this short tutorial for Vista/Windows 7 or Windows XP:

1. Make sure you have cleaned all ATI drivers, you can do this with (Drive Sweaper or Driver Cleaner.NET)
2. Download and install Mobility Modder v1.2.0.0 here
3. Download ATI Legacy Radeon X1xxx series driver for Vista/Windows 7 here or for Windows XP here, latest version 9.8
4. Modd, install and have fun this up to date drivers :)

I hope it will be usefull for someone...

P. S. You can only install 9.8 driver in device manager and then mod 9.9 Mobility drivers to install only Catalyst Control Center, didn't try with 9.10 desktop driver but it should work to.

So I looked for new drivers at ati.amd.com.
I filled in everything for my graphics card, the ATI Mobility X1400 and it suggests, I download Catalyst 9.3.
I saw they were already up to 9.10 and looked at the compatibility and it says.
My Fujitsu Siemens Laptop with XP and X1400 are supported.
Atleast that's what I conclude right here.
Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM

Then I start googling and see that my card is only supported with legacy drivers which are at 9.8.

I'm kind of confused here, which drivers are right for my laptop?

Has anyone else had this problem? When i install the drivers for ATI mobility 9600/9700, there are tiny green pixels on the screen and when I put something ontop (ie: a window) they disappear but then reappear later on.. I also get this REALLY bad when watching video.

I have an alienware 766 P4 3.2Ghz, 1Gb RAM, ATI mobiliity 9600/9700 128mb vid card, 7200RPM 160 Gb HDD (name.. can't remember :P)

I've tried multiple solutions... old drivers, new drivers, mobility modder... nothing solves the issue.

When on the standard VGA drivers (default) there are no pixels, but my resolution isn't 1680x1050... its 1280x800 and is ugly :`(

Any suggestions would be welcomed!

Thanks

Hi,

I'm running windows 7 32bit with a ATi mobility x300 in a Dell Inspiron 9300.

I have been using catalyst 9.3 (no CCC) for a while but ran into some issues with Guitar hero world tour. I'm not sure if it has to do with the video drivers but I'd like to update them.

I tried 9.6, 9.7, 9.8, 9.9, 9.10 after modding with mobility modder (latest version) but they don't work! 9.10 gives a bluescreen upon restart and the others say something about graphics card/driver not found upon restart...

Also tried the "beta" 9.9 ati mobility drivers but they won't even install without getting modded (shouldn't need this) and then it behaves just like 9.6-9.9.

HELP!??

Hi,

I just installed Windows 7 on my laptop but I couldn't play CS in OpenGL. So I decided to uninstall the driver that windows installed itself and I rebooted. Then I followed the steps DriverHeaven suggested. Everything went well but when I rebooted after following all the steps, an error message saying "Impossible de charger le fichier ou l'assembly "Mom.Implementation" ou une de ses dépendances. Le fichier spécifié est introuvable." It means that it was impossible to download the file or the assembly "Mom.Implementation" or one of its dependancies. The file specified can't be found. Then when I try to run CCC and the same message appears, but with CLI.implementation. And I still can't run CS in OpenGL. Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot!

After a few months of angry open letters to AMD and Asus, the drivers problem of the M4870X2 of the Asus W90 is history.

Everything started here :
*Official ASUS W90Vp Owners' Lounge* - Page 999
when a german nice guy (probably working for Asus) provided us all the tools necessary to have decent drivers and CCC.

Here's the method.

1)Uninstall your driver and your ccc. Reboot to safe mode and clean everything's left with driver sweeper. Reboot again.

2)(optional) if you have followed the breaker guide to have a master/master config, get back to the original master/slave config :
W90 Limit Breaker Guide .V2

3)Flash your motherboard bios with this one :
http://www.kinasz.com/W90/W90VP-ASUS-0001.ZIP
Use Winflash if you have problem to access the rom from EZ Flash?

4)In Windows, launch this application and reboot:
http://go.notebookreview.com/?id=525...s_W90_Aug5.zip
It will flash your graphic card bios

5)You can now install reel drivers.
On Vista : use modded (with DH Mod) 9.10.
On 7 : use modded 9.11

6)Enjoy !

Hello,
I bought a Dell Laptop (15.6") with a Mobility Radeon HD 4330. While using normal WIndows driver I updated to Dell's driver for M92. A friend told me this is my card, although I found the title confusing.

I also bought an adapter frpom VGA too cinch in order to watch movies on my TV. However, I was only able to get a dietsorted image with this. The picture is all black and white has fraying edges and only shows half of the screen twice. i tried all the available resolutions, but none worked.

Can somebody help me, please. Is there another driver I should download. Maybe one from ATI itself? The ones I found odn't feature the 4330.

Thanks in advance.
