Many people belive so, but in fact, 99.999999% of filters on the earth
(at least filters for sound processing - software plug-ins, hardware boxes - anything) do not use fft...

FFT (today) is typically used only for "very special things" like "spectrum matchers" (like Steinberg FreeFilter), "noise reduction filters" (probably most of "noise reductors"), some of "convolution reverberators" (too few of them though), "vocoders" and similiar.

Although i can't believe that you've missed that tons of documentation on digital filters... probably good starting point would be
google->"dsp filter algorithms", "digital filters algorithm" and so on.

p.s. err.. probably those "tutorials" i gave above are too theoretical for starting point of the practician ;)

Actually something like "Using ADSP-21065L for Digital Audio" is much better for understanding (yeah! that's better ;)... you also may check out these �àçäåëèòåëüíûå ôèëüòðû äëÿ êîëîíîê ñòîèò íà kX DSP ñäåëàòü? thread for other useful documents on "practical digital filter design" (thread in russian but doc titles in eng.) All of mentioned materials are available on-line and can be found via google (/"document name" pdf/)

hello.
since i'm actually digged with real "reworked" ufx version (new plugins, visual improvements etc.)
and it will require more time then i thought, i decided to make temporary update of ufxs for ver.36/37
this version (1.32.00.3536) should be treated as "beta" and "experimental", but it should be compatible with driver ver. 34.....37

no. i plan changes and "final" version of RR but i'm not sure this will be done in nearest future.
