is there a graphic dynamics processor for 3537?

Hello : ), as the title says, i'd like to know if there is some dynamics processor for 3537, that shows the dynamics curve, unlike the one that comes with 3537 fx pack. It's sooo easier to me to set parameters that way, and i think i remember using Dynamica 2.0 (or was it 3.0? the one with blue background and the curve at the left) plugin by eYagos (i think these are the name and author) with 3537, but maybe i was trying 3538 and i'm mistaken.
I cant use 3538 in my w98 computer, so i'm tied to 3537.
I've had a search at the forums, but i couldnt find anything. : /
If anyone has some info about it, i'd be grateful : )
Thanks in advance : )

It looks like dynamica is in 3538 but not 3537. I recompiled dynamica from 3538 for 3537.
link removed

Since I don't have 3537 installed (I'm using 3538i) I could not test if it works correctly and if the skin is displayed correctly. So, tell me if the skin is displaying correctly. If it's not, I'll try to correct the problem.

Thank you Tril! : )
so i imagined using dynamica with 3537...
I really appreciate you bothered to re-compile the plugin! : )
i tried it, and this is what appears when i click on 'tweak':

---------------------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library
---------------------------
Debug Assertion Failed!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\kxmixer.exe
File: f:\.projects\emu10k1\.my\kxgui\peak.cpp
Line: 87

For information on how your program can cause an assertion
failure, see the Visual C++ documentation on asserts.

(Press Retry to debug the application)

do you have any ideas? i hope this is some easy thing to solve : )

thanks again! : )

Is not possible to recompile it for 3537 without rewriting the GUI part. Skin system does not work in 3537.

I don't plan on rewriting the plugin or trying to get it working on 3537. Sorry.

There is some skin support in 3537. I made my TimeBalanceV2 plugin with a skin in 3538, never tested in 3537 and nobody complained that it did not work. I must not have touched the part of the skin support that is not working in 3537.

What are the changes in the skin support between 3537 and 3538i?

It's in the register in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\kX\Plugins
Every plugin has two keys. Delete them for the plugin.

Tril, there is no problem .
About your question, I can't remember it very well, because I made it a long time ago. It could be compiled for 3537, but not with the 3537 SDK functions: Maybe with little changes in 3537 SDK, or maybe writing an entire new class for the skinned sliders. I don't really know. In any case, it would be too much work.

Eyagos, I don't see any reason why your Dynamics Processor 3.1 (the bleu one) could not be compiled for any previous kX version.
I have done so even for 3534. (great Compressor btw!!)

The only problem that remains is your 'slider redraw issue', but that can be fixed.

Sorry, I can't assure now if it can be compiled or not for 3537.

@Lemury: 3.1 is very old and it does not have sense to recompile it. In any case 4.0 ...

@Tril: Looking at 3538 changelogs, i have seen that maybe the skin file has to be recompressed with WinRar 2.x

@Eyagos: Yes I know 4.0 is newer, however I like 3.1 a lot and recompiled it
some time ago for 3534 along with other usefull plugins.
So it is little effort for me to compile it for 3537.

Eyagos's Dynamics Processor v3.1 for 3537:
http://members.home.nl/nahutec/kxplu..._v3.1_3537.zip

Note:
I had to change the slider bodies and thumbs to fix the 'slider redraw issue'
and some small bugs in the GUI code.
Other then that it's the same of course.

Btw: v4.0 can also be easily 'down' compiled.
Both v3.1 as well as v4.0 contain no special 3538 code/features.
HTH,

/LeMury
