a sugestion for a DSP effect
Unfortunaly I know nothing about DSP programming, but here's my idea:
A vocal auto-harmonizer DSP effect controlled by midi to make choirs in realtime from a single vocal.
Basically, an audio multi-pitch-shift effect whose intervals are controlled by the incoming midi notes.
Something like this...

I'm also not an expert on dsp programming, but I doubt this is possible with the resources of the dsp...

U can do something like this using the APS Pitch dsp, u need one for each interval u want (setting semitones to achieve the interval u wish):
http://www.radiocolonel.it/files/dsp.png
then u can control the APS Pitch and the semitones(for the intervals u want) with the KX Midi automation.

Yes, it depends on what midi keyboard u are using, my MIDI keyboard is rough so i cannot do all the things i wished, it doesn't have lot of control like pitch wheel...

huh, no, it's got to do with the way aps pitch responds to midi notes.
for instance:
if C1 was 0 in pitch, then D1 should be 2 and B0 should be -1
but this is not assigned to each note, how could I say, as an integer, try for yourself and see what i'm talking about.

Yeah, the semi-tones do not seem to be all that accurate. I had tried previously using it with my guitar to try and get the effect of 2 guitars playing an octave apart and quickly noticed that +12 semi-tones, was not on actave above what I was playing.
