Ufx?
Hi, I was just wondering what kind of effects were included with the UFX pack? I often see references to UFX here in the forum, and it seems it is very popular. I have not been using kX all the long, and because of issues with my sound card, I went straight to 3538, and thus have never even seen UFX, and I am curious as to why it is so popular?

I think the most worthy thing in UFX is the 5 band parametric EQ with a plot (idealized, not Bode I think). The package also has a very good reverb, single band EQs also with plots, a better peak meter and the standart 10 band graphic EQ and timbre filter are skinned.

The UFX pack is superb, They are nice sounding modules, as tiger emntioned they are all skinned so they look very slick as well. There has not been a 3538 Release yet sorry. 3537 only..as far as I know anyway. People have been asking for a version for 3538 but I guess we will just have to wait. should be some screen shots in the threads somwhere..

I searched as well, and the only info I found was that it used to be hosted at http://www.electricstart.de/, which seems to no longer exist.

No, it's not "idealized". It shows exact response.

Whatīs the problem with the site? If some news are coming up or a new circuit is finished, I post it there. Furthermore I use the site as a web-buffer for music and pictures and as a mirror for kX-files. If thereīs a longer time that nothing seems to happen this doesnīt means, that no-one updates the side now and then. Finally, I canīt update files that do not exists (i.e new UFX packages), sorry.
