Speaker Selector
Hi,
I've been using Kx dirvers for some time now and was wondering if this would be possible for a novice like me to have a go at. I'd like to make a plugin for the DSP that allows me to toggle which ouputs a stereo signal goes to. Basically I've got my decent monitors on the rear outs and want to put some cheap speakers on the front outs then A/B them to check my mixes. Would this be hard to do? If I can do this the next step would be to add a control to toggle mono and stereo ouptut to check mono compatability of the mixes. Any suggestions on where to start or if this has already been done? Thanks, Neufena |

What comes to my mind at the moment is that you can split the signal (by drawing 2 lines of each mono output) and feed the two stereo channels separately in two st vol plugins, then you can separately root one channel to rear and the other to front. With the two vols you can mute and unmute the desired channel + you can control the levels.
Maybe there is a better way to do this, but at the moment it's late afternoon at my place its very nice and I'm basking in the sun . This is no time for hard thinking.
