5.1 surround tweaks for Acoustic/Instrumental music
Hello folks,
I have a question on regards of 5.1 surround sound. I'd like to get the best effect on which one would feel like inmerse in music, specially on acoustic/instrumental. Currently i'm using Creative's Inspire 5200 5.1 speakers with my Audigy 1 Platinum card.
I've set my surrounder module to 5.1 Movie but i feel like the rear speakers are still sounding like the front ones and furthermore, more silent. As far as i know rear speakers, more than the front ones, should provide that 3D feel of the sound.
I know this is kind of a "taste" question, for everybody likes to hear their music in a different manner, but, if someone could just suggest a couple of tweaks i should make to my DSP panel to make my room sound like heaven, that would be great and i'd preciate the help.
Thanks a lot in advance.
