Loudness compensator - how to use?
Well, the title says it all - how do I use the loudness compensator?
I've done a little research, and it looks like a variable version of the old loudness button on home stereos. I'm guessing that I play some music at a loud volume, then turn it down with the slider and tweak the bass and treble sliders until it sounds the same as at loud volumes. Mmm, but then what's the Eq slider for?! Is there a more scientific approach to this, or should I just play around as above? |
