System Specs

i don't think the DSP has enough resources for that sort of limiter

It sounds like you want something like eyagos' AGC v2.0 plugin, but unfortunately it is only available for some older versions of kX.

Beyond that there is the Dynamic Processor 4, and APS Compressor, etc.
