exclamation New: Plugins for use with kX0/KX1 sliders in the Windows Mixer

LMVol:

Contains two plugins (LineIn Volume and MicIn Volume) that link with the kX0/kX1 (LineIn/MicIn) sliders in the Windows Mixer, so that you can use those sliders to control the level of a stereo signal in the DSP (useful for those of you with TV Cards, etc, that use the Windows Mixer to control volume).

They basically work the same as manually assigning the sliders to a plugin using kX Console, except it is automated and it auto-syncs with the Windows Mixer (which the console command does not seem to do on it's own).

When the plugins are loaded, they map the sliders to themselves, and when the plugins are unloaded (or kxmixer exits), they reset the mapping to the default settings (so kxmixer needs to be running in order to change the volume within the plugins).

You should not load multiple instances of these plugins (but you can use both plugins at the same time), since kX will only update one instance of the plugin.

You can download the plugin here.

I am sorry for my English. The reference to uploading does not work. How it is possible to receive this plug-in?

That website closed a few days ago, but I can put up a temporary link if you let me know what version of kX are you using.

BTW: I do not know if these plugins work on Windows Vista / Windows 7.

I do not know if those sliders are functional (or if they even exist) with kX on Windows 7, but you can give it a try.

[EDIT]
Updated link in first post of this thread.
