Trouble downloading Driver Cleaner

After installing Windows XP Service Pack 1a and the most recent drivers for my video card (that is, driver version 56.72 for my GeForce 4 Ti 4600), I ran into a lot of trouble with my mouse cursor freezing up. Eventually I just restored my system to a point before I installed the service pack and the new drivers. No freeze-ups so far. But I'm a hardcore gamer, and I want the most recent drivers for my video card (Service Pack 1 doesn't seem to be that important). I'd appreciate help on the freeze-up issue, but that's not the intention of this posting.

Which brings me to Driver Cleaner. I know the Add/Remove screen does not remove System32 driver files and Windows/inf files for NVidia. But I do not know whether or not there are other driver files that are not being removed. I am hoping Driver Cleaner will make sure about such files.

The trouble is I cannot open the Driver Cleaner zip file. I have Win Zip and have never had troubles with it before. Now I keep getting this message: "Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive. If you downloaded this file, try downloading the file again." After repeated downloads, I still get the message.

On the Driver Cleaner page, I see the instructions about problems with downloads, but the instructions are not helping me. I do not know where to go to "check referrer settings," and I do not know anything about "anti-leech scripting." Also, though I do not think I have a download accelerator or a firewall enabled, I do not know where to go to make sure they are disabled.

Would someone please help?

Try that and see if it helps. I will see what i can do to fix it.

i'm slowly downloading and HOSTING all the files dh is hosts.... if you need another source download... just yell.... i'll host it and see if it'll help...

Ok i setup download mirrors. Try those than.
