TuneXP Prefetch Problem

Hello All -- TuneXP seems to make my laptop startup and shutdown faster, but the 2nd time I tried to clear my prefetch, I got a DOS window as follows:

C:\>del*.*
C:\ *.*, are you sure?

Now I'm not a programmer, but this tells me the software wants to wipe my C partition. The program actually resides on partition E. Any help?

Okay, what version of TuneXP do you have?

You should not run less than Final Release, get it from www.driverheaven.net/dforce

If it IS Final Release you're running, please reinstall, and configure the application's Windows directory setting properly

Yes, it is Final Release. I have a rather restrictive C partition, so I loaded it into E and "pointed" it to C:\Windows. I assume this may be the problem.

Probably what I should do is find a copy of PatitionMagic and increase the size of C.

The only thing I don't understand is why it performed flawlessly yesterday with the same configuration, but not today.

After running all of the tweaks I noticed my Prefetch folder was deleted. I tried to recreate it under C:\windows but the system isn't using it. Any ideas? Not sure if it was your tweaker or something else I did. I just noticed it after using your app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Fixed it. Some how my "Task Scheduler" service got set to manual. Set it back to automatic and now all the tweaks work fine. Prefetch is back. Got the idea to look there from the sticky thread about the app.
