DriverCleaner problem

I uninstalled my Nvidia Drivers and then used DriverCleaner 2.0 to get rid of the extra files. Now I try to install drivers again, and it gives me a "Missing Section in INF" error after it finishes installing. So I check on drivercleaner if it did install it anyway, but nope, no Nvidia driver files are there. IS there a way to fix the error so I can install my drivers again?

Try an older version of the drivers first.

Did you uninstall the drivers through the control panel and than run driver cleaner in safe mode? I mean did you follow the steps?

yes I uninstalled in control panel and ran driver cleaner in safe mode. And I've tried 4 sets of drivers, even the ones I had working before.

What version did you had installed? what is your os language? and what is your os? with sp1? also did you installed and hit fixes and if so which?

i mean for the last question it was hot fixes, like from that microsoft update site.

I have all the updates, but I didnt install any immediately before during or after the driver upgrade, I didn't download the nvidia drivers off that page either.

Did you use the backup feature in driver cleaner 2?

no, but i discovered it after i had cleaned the remnants

I have no idea how to fix it for you now, but i am trying to contact nvidia to see if they have a solution and that i can fix it in DC.

Maybe contact nVidia support and ask them they can give you maybe a solution.
