Cannot get 3650 drivers to work
I'm using a Packard-Bell Easynote model ST86 equipped with a Radeon HD 3650. It is running Vista 32, and I cannot, for the life of me, get any new drivers to work. I've tried searching through this forum to no avail.
Basically, I follow the instructions on the main site, and Windows pops up with a message saying "the device has been disabled because the drivers are not compatible with the VGA adapter", after which the system automatically switches to the Intel drivers. The correct model number is still displayed in device manager (it doesn't revert to 3200 or anything like that), but it shows up as non-functional.
Now, I've tried some of the solutions that have been posted here, such as changing the ID in the .inf files/removing other cards from the list. I also cannot change anything in the system BIOS that would make the drivers compatible. I've tried using the newly released 9.9 Catalyst drivers, then 9.8, and I finally went all the way back to 9.4 with no success.
I'm at a complete loss here.
