I have modtooled 9.7 drivers but not CCC, can I get CCC?

Hey I just loaded the 9.7 catalyst modtooled drivers, but JUST the drivers, and not the Catalyst control center.

It solved the freezing problems I was having, but can I download 9.7 catalyst control center now? Do I need to modtool those, or should I just not put CCC on my laptop at all? (now that I have modtooled drivers on my laptop)
