??? Ati X2300 on win7. Worked with 9.3 but from 9.4 to 9.6 driver won't work

OS: Windows 7 64bit Build 7201
Mobility Radeon x2300
I can install 9.3 with mod tool, no problems at all.
If I try modtool + 9.4 - 9.6, CCC is installed but the driver has a (!) and does not work.

The last version that works for me is: 8.561.0.0

Is there a way to install 9.6?

The new drivers are with better performance.
