Asus W90VP Mob. Radeon 4870X2

Hi,

Any chance to get this Card inside my Notebook supported soon?

I know, currently it is not supported ... is anyone working on that?

In other forms all over the net ... people are patching the BIOS of second VGA card to get initial support ... but this can't be the answer in my eyes.

Yup yup! Asus are no good and don't seem to care about updating drivers.

We need help with our W90's

Same here , just got a W90VP A1 and cant update the display drivers . Is omega drivers for the 4870 x2 are going to be suported soon ??

Any updates or alternative solutions (even if complicated) on having both GPUs at current drivers on a W90v?

I would really appreciate it if someone could respond this question.

Yep, same here, some input for such a new laptop would be really appreciated, as Asus are silent on this one. So many people seem to be buying this powerful laptop and are stuck with stock drivers, no updates, no nothing.

For people that haven't seen this, a very helpful guy called "ViciousXUSMC" on the notebookreview forums has come up with a guide for applying the "9-4_vista64_win7_64_dd.exe" drivers.

Have a look and see what you think, the link is as follows :

But if DH can come up with any further info/feedback or updates for the mod tool that we can use for the 4870's in our W90's, we would obviously be very grateful !
