Mobility Radeon HD 3200 support in Mobility Modder please!!

Hi there,

I've been searching for a solution to rolling back my brand new laptop to XP, and now i've found the solution - almost!! I read in another thread that you were going to include support for HD 3200, and I'd just like to express my longing for that! My display is crap, and Asus have no XP support on their site for this model. Please help!!

Much appreciated. You guys are doing one helluva job here! Honestly, medals should be awarded for public service

Yeah i am trying to find the device id's. Could you post the device id? you can use like GPU-Z to display it.

Thanks for your quick reply

GPU-Z is returning an "unknown architecture" error, and not displaying any information (GPU unknown etc). Any ideas?? Any other way I can get that info?

Run DirectX diagnostic and click save all information, save the text file to desktop and open it.

Hi,

I've received my HP dv5z laptop today with hd 3450. When I try to install the drivers from ATI Catalyst Install Manager and check the error log afterwards I see HD 3200 chip (RS780) as detected on the system, but there is no reference to it on vista hardware list. anyways, here is the info, I hope it helps:

Hmm, I've just learned that RS780 is not HD 3200. I'm not even sure if my laptop has HD 3200. The only unknown seems like the second device: Device ID 0xaa28

Is it possible to get driver itself, not by Mobility Modder? If not, then which driver I should take to modifi it by MM?

Hello there, I have just registered because of this topic
See this -> AMD Game Forums - Limit shared memory on Radeon HD3200

I have already written the problem there about month ago...
I checked the compatibility list of DHMM and there is no support for 3200+3470, I am also using them on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pa3553.
This "implementation" chunk looks much like ".ini" file to me, where do I have to over/write this code to get it running?
