ATI Moblility 2600 problem

Good Evening Driver Heaven. Greetings 4 everyone

My problem concerning - Notebook 15,4" Asus :: F3SA-AS133C T8100/2048/250/DVD-RW/VHP + vista home premium with sp1.

I prepared ATI desktop drivers according to instruction from Mobility Modder Net (Among others I tested versions 8.5-8.6). The process of instalation proceeded properly; It is worth to note that vista indicated - "Driver is not WHQL certified". After I've had installed new drivers, vista showed „blue screen” after reboot (this anomaly appeared every time I had installed new drivers); btw – with new driver on the board - I found „blue screens” occasionally, without any well-defined reason.

There is also another side of the story – new drivers seemed not to increase efficiency of my ATI Moblility 2600; to tell the truth – I noted some decrease of power of my card. This problem is very puzzling to me (To cut a long story short - Instead of huge increase I've got decrease and worse still additionaly „blue screens”). All in all I returned to OEM drivers (dated on July 2007 (sic!).

Have you ever heard about similar problems? Howe to manage this? I want to speed up my card with ati modder but i can not becouse of this puzzling problem.

Any ideas? Any helpfull advices?

Finally I tried out ati 8.7 version. I prepared drivrs with new modder net.

In result the efficiency of graphic card increased visibly.

In conclusion, may be that I made some mistake in a scope of previous modding of ati drivers. And this mistake caused the whole prblem.

All in all it seems that there is no reason to blame modder net.

Greetings.

Hi,

so the new driver is working? sometimes it is difficult for me to find out what the problem is, because it works in a driver and then the next it doesn't and the version after that it works again. My new version will have some improvements and i will release it soon.
