Resolution problem: ATI x1600 MBP Vista

Hi, the details of my computer and setup are listed below:

15" Macbook Pro running 32-bit Vista via Mac OS X Leopard Boot Camp
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
External Display: Dell 2007 wfp

The problem I am having is that I can't get the native resolution of my external display, 1680 by 1050, to be recognized by the display driver. I have installed the catalyst driver with the mobility modder and still can't get it to work. The highest resolution with the correct aspect ratio that I am getting is 1440 by 900. The display works perfectly under Leopard, but Vista seems to resist this resolution for some odd reason.

Is this something a problem shared by others or did I do something wrong?

Thank you in advance for all the help.

-Paul
