X1600 Vista Crashes

Hi, since ATI/AMD is not providing drivers for vista Im using your modder. I have vista ultimate 32bit with modded ATI Catalyst 8.2, everything works fine except games, the graphics are ok but the problem are the often crashes, once the game can dont start even at all, othervise I can play 30min and game will crash, the time and situations for crashes are randome but the result the same for all. It happend for all games since I played with modded drivers with vista, especially:

Gears of War
Kane and Lych
Unreal Tournament 3
Assasin's Creed
And...

So Im confused, is it vista fault or modder or something else...

I have similar problem with my Mobility Radeon HD 2300 under Vista Home Basic on my Fujitsu-Siemens notebook. It apears taht Assassin's Creed crashes always in the same place (when leaving underground tunnels - beggining of the game), and Entropia Universe crashes just after login. What is odd, when crashing my screen goes black (backlight is turned off). It haven't happend before with my manufacturer drivers but performance was poor.
