Laptop w/ xpress 200m advice please

First I gotta say hello to the forum this is my first post after joining.

OK, I have a toshiba A105-s2201 laptop which means my laptop is running a celron M 420 (1.6ghz) that has as the topic suggests a xpress 200m igp, the lcd screen has a max resoultion of 1200x600.

This is my second "modern" laptop that I have owned, the first being a first generation centrino system that had a 9600 mobiltiy that crapped literatly while playing quake4 on it. While I don't really have anyone to blame for myself for that happening, since I was running the omega drivers and I knew I was pushing the limits of my GPU (quake4's box said that it required a 9700 or better). After that heart break, (the laptop was rather expensive to buy originaly and not cost effective to repair, since the gpu was built into the mobo) I have since decided to be carefull with my current laptop when it comes to gaming, and pushing the graphics processor.

Has anyone had a good or bad experince using Mobility modder with a simular system?
I am hesitant, after my previous experince, I really enjoy having a laptop and don't have the ability to replace it. It took me almost a entire year to replace my previous laptop, and I don't really desire to go w/o mobile comuting again.
