HP 8510p HD 2600 XP Support

Hi I was wondering if you guys would add the Mobility HD 2600 from the HP 8510p into the Mobility Modder. You can get the preexisting XP drivers from HP.

Link is here.

HP Compaq 8510p Notebook PC*-* ATI Video Driver and Control Panel for Microsoft Windows XP - HP Business Support Center

The driver also had this HD Audio support for the HDMI out. Does this even come with the regular catalyst?

OH GAWD YES PLEASE!!!

i'm sure there are alot of new Radeon Mobility HD 2600 owners out there hurting bad over the lack of GOOD XP support.

I have a Toshiba P200-rt9 which only has XP drivers for its fairly equivalent sister computers (i.e. A200-th7 in canada or the uk's P200-123) and this v.8.383.1.1000 driver is terribly unstable. I have had it working a couple of times but i'm plagued by either BSODs on startup (after the Windows XP load screen), driver load failures which boot to CGA display mode (!!!) with no way out, or OpenGL is disabled which is unacceptable for my CAD programs.

I need this comp to work for next week, so i'm so desperate i'm trying too foolishly hack my own drivers (too bad i suck!!!). I've disabled most other non-essential drivers, use a cleaner between installs and have given up on installing the CCC (thats another story...)

If anyone has any stop-gap solutions/driver alternatives until the next modder release, please let me know, this is really desperate!

Thanks!
